📚 East Northport Rotary Delivers Books to “The Book Fairies”
The East Northport Rotary recently delivered a large donation of books to The Book Fairies in Freeport, helping to bring the joy of reading to children and adults in underserved communities. Rotary members Janeen Kush, Mark Jennings, and Tara Flynn transported the books, while Patty Bertoline, Logistics Director, coordinated the delivery.
The Book Fairies is a nonprofit organization that provides free books to communities in need across Long Island, New York City, and even internationally. Through their programs, teachers can attend book fairs and select books for their classrooms, helping to foster literacy and a lifelong love of reading.
The East Northport Rotary will continue collecting books throughout the year. If you would like to donate new or gently used books, please contact Janeen Kush at (631) 790-6617.
