Community Engagement Iniatives
Interact Clubs
Together with their teacher/advisors, in our efforts to support communities, we guide students in developing a passion for service and volunteerism. For example, but not limited to: students participate in our annual shoe collection for Souls4Souls in March, play a spirited game of Scrabble with the residents of the East Northport Atria, and organize and run food drives, clothing drives, and holiday gift-giving initiatives.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
As a youth leadership program, RYLA unites high school students from various backgrounds. These emerging leaders share the goal of addressing real-life issues through community projects. RYLA equips them with the skills needed to become tomorrow’s leaders, instilling the core value of "Service Above Self."
Youth Exchange
Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one person at a time. Our club supports Rotary Youth Exchange through long and short term exchanges. This is a dynamic program for high school students to travel to and live in another country to learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become Global Citizens. Investing in Our Students
The East Northport Rotary is dedicated to investing in our youth and schools. Each year, we provide financial support in the form of scholarships for graduating seniors as well as donations to a wide range of student clubs and organizations. These contributions help encourage leadership, service, and community engagement among students.
AWARE Drug & Alcohol Community Coalition (formerly NENDATF)
The East Northport Rotary Club is proud to partner with AWARE Drug and Alcohol Community Coalition focusing on promoting the well-being of our youth by preventing substance misuse, supporting mental wellbeing, and empowering community members through education, stigma reduction, and expanded outreach to create a healthier tomorrow.
East Northport Chamber of Commerce
The East Northport Chamber of Commerce and the East Northport Rotary share a common commitment to strengthening our community. The Chamber fosters local business growth and civic pride by connecting business owners, residents, and organizations, while the Rotary embodies the spirit of “Service Above Self” through scholarships, donations to student clubs, and hands-on community projects. Together, these two organizations support the vitality of East Northport—investing in students, uplifting families, and promoting a thriving local economy.
Relay for Life - American Cancer Society
Lace up your sneakers and take strides toward a world without cancer. Relay for Life is more than a race—it’s a powerful community event where survivors, caregivers, families, and friends unite to honor those we’ve lost, celebrate those who have survived, and raise funds to fight back against cancer. Every step brings us closer to hope, healing, and a brighter tomorrow.
